Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro filed a lawsuit against Costco alleging the organic milk being sold in stores isn't organic. According to the complaint the milk supply company Costco purchases milk from is in violation of 14 USDA regulations and its milk does not fall within compliance of USDA requirements for organic foods.

Costco stocks organic milk in its stores under the Kirkland Signature brand and sells the product at a higher price that non-organic milk.
